Built Better to Last Longer

Wheeler buildings are not just covers, but containers. The sturdy treated timber construction allows the walls to be loaded up to 12 feet high, maximizing the space within the building.

Timber preserved with oil-borne QNAP provides the best defense against the damaging effects of road salt. Materials such as concrete, steel and waterborne treated wood will break down over time when exposed to the brine created by the salt pile.

Wheeler sales consultants work to understand your operations. How you work in and around the building is more than just listing a storage capacity. The building and potential accessories are custom-detailed to fit your budget and storage needs.

Covers are temporary and our containers are permanent.

Gable

Gable roof buildings are suitable for a wide range of storage requirements. Gable roof trusses are easy to install and maintain while maximizing storage space. Plus, the gable design is now easier to build with updated wall bracing details.

Shed

For smaller buildings, our shed design provides uncomplicated installation and simple maintenance. The timber walls are tied together, enabling you to store salt just short of the rafters. Sheds can feature single or multiple bins, depending on your storage needs.

Built With Long-Lasting Preserved Timber

While road salt is meant to melt the ice on roadways, it shouldn’t dissolve your storage structure. All of our buildings are made using long-lasting timber, preserved with oil-borne QNAP. Our timber fights back against the harsh effects of salt by preventing brine from entering the wood fibers. As a result, our buildings are still in service decades later.

Why timber? Steel and concrete require surface protection, including coatings and waterproofing. These protectants must be maintained for the life of the structure, which often means scheduled maintenance and evacuation of all stored materials. Timber preserved with QNAP provides a water-repellant defense that’s easy to maintain and durable for years to come.

Accessories

Our buildings are fully customizable to fit your needs. We offer a wide range of accessories to expand the functionality of your building, including cold storage, windows, lean-tos, attached garages and more.
