Custom Fabricated Bridge Timbers & Railroad Materials
At Wheeler, we specialize in providing fabricated bridge timbers for your railroad projects. Through our Whitewood, South Dakota plant and state-of-the-art equipment, we design, fabricate and treat quality bridge ties per customer and industry specifications.
Stringers
Our timber stringers are sourced from West Coast saw mills and come in a variety of sizes to support the entirety of your structure. We offer both solid sawn and glu-laminated stringers to fit your needs.
Caps
Our caps are available in a number of sizes and can be custom-sized to accommodate any project.
Piling
Our railroad bridge piling is made using Southern Yellow Pine and Douglas Fir Pine. It’s available in a wide range of diameters and lengths or can be custom-sized to meet the needs of your specific project.
Glu-Lam
We utilize Glu-Lam for railroad bridges that require larger bridge timbers.
