About Wheeler
For decades, Wheeler has been committed to delivering the highest quality building materials throughout the Midwest and across the US.
Resilience Through What Was. Experience for What’s to Come.
Wheeler began in 1892 as the Wheeler Lumber Company. Over the years, we’ve overcome every obstacle that stood in our way, from the Great Depression to severe market downturns. Our resilience through the past has resulted in experience for the present and the future.
From delivering expert advice for your projects to protecting your timber materials with QNAP, everything we do is driven by our experience and commitment to performance.
Dedicated to Protecting Your Timber Structures
Whether a bridge, salt storage building or railroad bridge timber, your structures should last. Water-borne preservatives don’t provide the protection these structures require. Wheeler uses QNAP, an approved oil-borne wood preservative to protect timber structures for years to come. QNAP features a longer efficacy than water-borne preservatives when used in the right application.
High Standards Today for Superb Performance Tomorrow
Construction projects are expensive in more ways than one. They take time and serious cash. Wheeler exists to make your job easier by following in-depth quality control standards in-house. Our quality control process ensures your materials are right before delivery to your site. You can rest easy knowing your materials are the highest quality and built to last.
